The rim of the plate is decorated with a deep border that is divided into six sections of two different alternating patterns. One section consists of a blue field with a white diamond containing red and green enamels in the shape of a tree and flowers. The second section consists of a red field with a white section containing red and green enamels in the shape of a tree, grass, and flowers. The underside of the plate is decorated with four abstract flowers and a few lines of cobalt blue circling the foot.
