DescriptionRound, earthenware, copper luster pitcher with raised floral decoration and enamels in white, green, pink, orange, blue, green, yellow, and black. The body of the pitcher was formed in a two-part mold, as mold lines are visible on opposite sides of the pitcher with the spout and handle. The pitcher sits on a flat foot and swells to a round body with a nearly straight neck above. The body of the pitcher has raised floral decorations, leaves, and a scalloped line. The pitcher would have been coated with a dark brown glaze and given an gold luster finish to create the appearance of copper luster, then the floral decorations at the neck of the pitcher were covered in a white enamel before a final color enamel was added. The handle of the pitcher was formed in a mold.

The luster and enamel finish has worn off over many parts of the raised decoration. The only chips, which reveal the earthenware body below, are on a few small portions of the enameled flowers. The tip of the spout has broken off and has been reattached.
