DescriptionSketches of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, a mouse, sheep, goats, lions, chickens, and a rooster. Dogs include Saint Bernards and small fluffy and short-haired dogs, possibly terriers. Some dogs wear collars. Some horses are in harness; one is lying down and may be dead. One study of a horse includes a man with a banjo. Some sketches show anatomical details, including legs, hindquarters, forequarters, and heads. Some drawings include landscape details such as grass, trees, or fences.
