DescriptionWoman's cotton plain-woven cotton duster with a center front opening for the entire length, closing with five plastic buttons and a four-inch overlap. Both the front and the back of the duster hang straight with no shaping. There is a patch pocket at hip level on both sides of the front. The two-piece sleeves are set in smoothly, and each has a self-fabric strap and two smaller buttons at the cuff for adjusting the fit at the wrist. The collar of the duster is cut with the stand-and-fall in one piece, the stand portion extending into a short strap. Both sides also have buttons to which the opposite strap can be buttoned for better protection from the elements and dust. The center front opening is faced in self-fabric, and the duster is unlined. The fiber content of the duster's fabric was confirmed by examination under a microscope.
