DescriptionSpherical, thin, white, hard paste porcelain teapot (.a) with lid (.b), both with hand painted underglaze cobalt blue decoration and a wooden handle (possibly bamboo or wicker). The hand-painted decoration shows a dragon on either side of the teapot floating through a swirling blue cloud. The same design continues onto the lid of the teapot, where a small steam hole has been punched. An S-shaped spout is applied to the side of the teapot. A wooden handle attaches to two small U-shaped, ribbed loops. An applied finial, composed of a U-shaped ribbed loop, is on the top of the inset lid.
The wooden handle is not completely attached to the teapot (as it is shown in the picture). It has deteched from the porcelain loop furthest away from the spout.
