DescriptionA young boy stands in front of a dressed stone wall. He wears a short jacket and dress trimmed with braid. His collar and pantalets are decorated with eyelet lace. He also wears a military style beaked cap and shoes with toe caps and a side button closure. He holds the scabbard of a sword in his left hand and the hilt of the sword in his right hand. A grassy lawn, bushes, and small trees are in the background, beyond the stone wall.
