Each edge of the quilt has a straight-grain fabric binding.

Label TextOne hundred years after the making of the quilt to the left, this cradle quilt welcomed another new life. This time, the maker used pale pink roses in a wreath pattern to create a quilt that would provide both warmth and comfort. Although seemingly endless patterns and colors existed for textiles by the 20th century, solid colored fabrics in standard combinations still work together to create beautiful spring quilts.
