DescriptionViews of flood waters and flood damage in the Waterbury area. Two views show areas of streets that have been washed away after the water has receded, with some houses visible. Underground pipes have been exposed. Several men and women stand looking on at the damage. Some fences are visible along areas where sidewalks have been; trees are visible. Another elevated view shows flood waters along a commercial area, where several businesses with signs line the street. Two men, one with an umbrella, stand in the water. Some of the signs read: "Millinery / Parlors." ; "P. Simons, / Merchant Tailor" ; "Hat, Caps..." ; "Raymonds" ; "Mrs. A. Phillips, Millinery". An awning reads: "Fruits". What is possibly a barber's pole is visible.
