DescriptionStudio portrait of an elderly man wearing a jacket, vest, shirt, and necktie. He has a beard. His hands are clasped in front of him.
NotesSubject Note: Daniel Wright Kellogg was born in Tolland, Connecticut on 21 July 1807. He was the founder of the the Kellogg lithography firm in Hartford in 1831 or 1832. He went west about 1836, eventually settling in southeastern Wisconsin where he died 28 December 1874. He apparently spent some time in Hartford during the 1860s when this photograph probably was taken.
