DescriptionTwo children, a boy and a girl, walk across a snow-covered field. The boy wears a coat or smock, plaid pants with cuffs, socks, and shoes. A stocking cap with a tassel is on his head. He carries a small evergreen tree over his right shoulder. The girl wears a coat, scarf, and hat. She carries a bundle of greens, including ivy, wrapped in a striped cloth. Bare weeds, possibly at the edge of a pond, are in the left foreground. Evergreen trees are in the right background.
