DescriptionSeven mounted soldiers on the right attack a group of foot soldiers on the left. The cavalrymen wear uniforms with breastplates and helmets with long plumes. Two of the men hold swords over their heads. One of the infantrymen also holds a sword; others hold rifles or muskets with fixed bayonets. One man falls back, apparently dead or wounded. A flag with a horseman superimposed over a double-headed eagle flies overhead. Clouds of smoke are in the background.
