DescriptionA flock of sheep crosses a wooden bridge across a stream, driven by a dog wearing a collar and a man on horseback. The man wears a coat, vest, pants, shirt, necktie, and hat. Ivy grows on a tree in the left foreground. Ducks swim in the water in the right foreground. A wooden bar extending over the water appears to be a gate which could be used to close the bridge. The stream flows over a low waterfall, probably a mill dam, in the background. A pond is beyond; a mill with a waterwheel is in the right background. The pond is surrounded by trees.
