DescriptionA four-column family register is surrounded by an ornamental border incorporating six vignettes in decorative frames. Stylized vases of flowers, including roses and lilies, are in the left and right borders. The vignettes include: a woman seated beside a wicker cradle with a small boy nearby; a wedding with a bride, groom, minister, and two attendants; a weeping woman and a small girl beside a grave monument; a girl standing in a field while a man plows with a team of horses in the background; a man, woman, boy, and girl standing outside a house; and farm workers harvesting hay and loading it on a hay wagon.
