DescriptionA young girl sits on a cushion in the interior of a room. She wears a dress with a wide neckline and a lace collar. Her shoes are laced around her ankles. She wears her hair in long braids looped back upon themselves and tied with ribbon bows at the top and bottom. A similar bow is on the collar of her dress. She holds a spray of flowers, including a rose and what appears to be a carnation. Other flowers, entwined with a latticework frame, are on the floor in the right foreground. Patterned wallpaper is on the wall in the background.
