DescriptionA young child, probably a boy, sits on a bed or couch. He wears a loose-fitting nightshirt, which is falling off his shoulders. A string of beads or pearls is around his neck. In his right hand, he holds a large gold-topped cane with a cord strung through the top. In his left, hand he holds a doll wearing a coat and hat.
