DescriptionOn recto: Twelve portraits are grouped within a Gothic frame, divided into three parts by clusters of columns, and topped with crockets and finials. Some men wear wigs; some wear armor; some wear crowns; some wear military uniforms; some wear coats and shirts. The central figure appears to be blind and is playing a harp. A vignette below depicts shamrocks, weapons, and armor. Banners beneath the eleven subsidiary figures read: "SARSFIELD." "HUGH O'NEIL." "DATHI." "CURRAN." "GRATTAN." "EMMET." "FLOOD." "LORD EDW. FITZGERALD." "WOLFE TONE." "BRIEN BOROIMHE." "OHLAMH FODHLA." Three shamrocks enclosed in circles are in the upper center. The border of the central circle reads: "REMEMBER 1782".

On verso: Five bust-length portraits of men are sketched in pencil. Three different men appear to be depicted. The same man, seen in profile and wearing a beaked cap, appears at the upper left and lower right. A different man appears both at the left center and at the lower left.
