DescriptionA small girl wearing a hooded cape over a dress and what appears to be a sweater and mittens without fingers, has stooped over to pet a small, long-haired dog. Over her left arm she carries a basket with what appears to be a napkin in it. She holds a small bouquet of flowers in her left hand. Some of the petals have fallen on her skirt. She looks back apprehensively. A steep bank is behind her. The ground is covered with dense leaves and a leafy plant grows at the left. Sunlight shines through the trunks of trees at the upper left.
