DescriptionThirteen men are seated on the far side of a long, narrow table. Most have beards or mustaches. They wear robes, cloaks, and sandals. Plates, glasses, small loaves of bread, and what appear to be small fruits are on the table. The corners of the tablecloth are knotted. Most men gesticulate dramatically and look at the central figure. The man at his immediate left bows his head and looks away. The next man leans back and clutches a goblet in his right hand. The man behind him appears to hold a knife. The man at the far left and two men in the right background are standing. Mountains are visible through three open windows in the back wall. Three other openings are in the left and right walls. A coffered ceiling is above. Lines on the floor recede in towards the background.
