DescriptionTwo young boys stand side by side in the interior of a room. They wear identical pants, shirts, jackets, and shoes with toe caps. The boy on the left holds a cap in his left hand. The boy on the right rests his left arm on an ornately carved black walnut or mahogany marble-topped table. A vase containing three roses is on the table. A carpet with a pattern of large stylized flowers is on the floor. Striped wallpaper is on the wall. Drapery with two cords and tassels is in the left background.
