DescriptionThree-quarter-length standing portrait of a woman. She wears a tight-fitting, sleeveless bodice that buttons down the front over a blouse and a long, full skirt. The blouse has short, gathered sleeves and a wide neckline. The woman has a bracelet on her right wrist and a rose and a piece of lace in her hair. She holds a flat basket in her right hand. She holds a second basket of flowers by its handle in her left hand. Both baskets contain flowers, including roses. Trees and bushes are in the background. Roses grow at the right. The composition is surrounded by an elaborate oval frame, incorporating baskets and cornucopia of flowers. An eagle with outstretched wings is perched on a shield at the upper center. The borders incorporate stylized flowers and leaves.
