DescriptionTwo large academic buildings are situated on a grassy lawn dotted with trees. The Greek revival building at the left has a pediment supported by four fluted Doric columns. Two men stand on the porch beneath the portico. There are two tall chimneys at the rear of the building. The building at the right is four-stories high, with two arched entrances and numerous chimneys on the roof. There is a lunette in the gable at the left. In the foreground is a rail fence and what appears to be a dirt road, lined with five trees.
