DescriptionA half-length portrait of a young girl is enclosed in an oval frame. She wears a dress with a wide neckline and long sleeves. She holds a broad-brimmed hat cradled in her left arm. Within the hat is a bird's nest with six birds in it. She appears to be feeding one of the birds with a stick held in her right hand. Trees are in the right background.
