DescriptionThree-quarter-length portrait of a man wearing a coat, vest, pants, shirt, and necktie. He is seated in an armchair with a carved wooden back and holds two sheets of paper, apparently a speech or letter, in his right hand. His body is turned slightly to the left. A column is in the left background. Drapery with two tassels is in the right background.
