DescriptionThree beavers gnaw at the base of a large tree at the left. Two of these beavers are on a grassy bank in the foreground. Their long, flat tails are in the water of a pond or river. The third beaver is in the grass or reeds at the left behind the tree. A fourth beaver swims in the water at the right. A fifth is on the shore in the right background. Trees and apparently barren hills are in the right background.
