DescriptionInterior view of the living room at Philip Cheney's house in South Manchester, Connecticut, looking East. There is a fireplace in the middle of the wall, with bookshelves built into the wall on either side. There are two elaborate candlesticks, one sitting on each end of the mantelpiece, and there are two decorative andirons sitting in front of the fireplace. A long garland of greenery is pinned in a scalloped pattern near the ceiling. There is a bow at the top of the middle peak and a wreath hangs below it, centered over the mantel. There is a plush armchair in the foreground on the left.

The photograph is printed on a piece of paper that has a simple border around the image area.
