DescriptionFull length portrait of Louis Richmond Cheney. He is standing in profile, facing to the right. Louis is wearing what might be the Governor's Foot Guard Undress Uniform. It consists of a jacket that has pins on the collar and a badge on the shoulder, pants that have a thick stripe on the outside of the leg, and a flat-topped cap with a short brim. Louis is holding a cigar in his right hand, which is held down at his side. He has a moustache and goatee.
