DescriptionAt the right, a man with a beard and mustache is seated on blocks of stone piled beside a stone well. He wears flowing robes and a cloak and is barefoot. A halo surrounds his head. To the left, a woman is walking away from the well looking back over her shoulder. She wears classical clothing and has sandals on her feet. An ornate jug or ewer is on the ground nearby. Two men in the left background watch the interaction between the man and the woman. A large tree and gigantic fluted columns are behind bushes at the right. Grassy hills and additional trees are in the left background.
