DescriptionHead and shoulders length portrait of Mary Bushnell Cheney (1840 - 1917) as an adult. She is looking off camera to the right. Mary is wearing a coat that has a dark fur collar, and a bonnet. The bonnet has a feather on it and is secured under Mary's chin with a large bow.
The photograph is cut in the shape of an oval and is attached to a piece of light green or beige cardstock. There is an oval imprint in the middle of the cardstock, forming a faint border around the photograph.
