DescriptionPhotograph of a carte-de-visite depicting a bust length image of Mary "Polly" Cheney as a young woman. She is looking off camera to the right. Mary is wearing a light colored coat or cloak and a bonnet. The bonnet has a large, light colored bow or other decorative element on it and is secured under her chin with a ribbon. Mary has light-colored eyes.
The CDV has a thin dark border running around the outer edge. Printed below the image area are the words: "H. L. BUNDY, / HARTFORD." The CDV is lying on a woven material. The edge of another CDV is visible to the right.
