DescriptionView of Roger Williams Cheney as a teenager, sitting in a rowboat. The photograph is being taken from inside the boat. Roger is sitting with his legs streched out infront of him, toward the camera. He is wearing tall, lace-up boots. Roger's arms are streched out and crossed in front of him, holding onto the end of an oar with each hand. The oars are anchored to the sides of the boat. Roger is wearing a button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a tie that is tucked into the shirt, between buttons. He is also wearing a hat that has a wide, floppy brim. The boat is in a body of water and a tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background on the right.
