DescriptionView of a carte-de-visite showing a head-and-shoulders portrait of George Wells Cheney (1825-1893) as an older man. He is looking off camera to the right. He is wearing a white shirt, jacket, and string tie. George's hair is thin on the top of his head but he has a full moustache and beard. His hair coloring is salt and pepper. The words "Bundy, Photo: / HARTFORD" are printed on the bottom of the CDV. It is pinned, with a large round tack, to a textured cloth backdrop.
