On the left is the former Gray Telephone Pay Station Company building, which at the time of the photograph was occupied by the industrial control division of Arrow-Hart & Hegeman Electric Company. The other building is 56 Arbor Street, built in 1917 as a factory for the Underwood Computing Machine Company.
