NotesDate note: According to inscription on back of photograph, this picture was taken on August 19, 1888. George was 10 days old. He was the only child of Wells Wadsworth Cheney and Lucy Compton Street.
The exact identity of the photographer, Paul Cheney, is unknown, but it may be Paul Howard Cheney (1867 - 1949), son of Frank Cheney and Susan Jarvis Cushing.
