DescriptionFull length studio portrait of George Wells Cheney, Sr. as a young boy. He is standing on a decorative rug with his hands in his pockets. George is wearing a double-breasted jacket with a design on the lapels and a calf-length skirt. There is a white, round collar sticking out from under the jacket and he is wearing black stockings with shoes. Some of George's hair is piled up on his head and the rest is styled in long ringlets that reach past his shoulders.
