NotesSubject Note: Osaka is a large port city in the Japanese island of Honshu. It is one of the three largest cities in Japan along with Tokyo and Yokohama. One of the main attractions of the city is Osaka Castle Park, which is a historic site and a public urban park that opened in 1931. The park includes Osaka Castle’s towers and the Nishinomaru Garden. The castle was built in 1585 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a Japanese military leader. Throughout the years, structures of the castle were destroyed and had to be rebuilt.
