DescriptionPortrait, probably of Elizabeth Brown Pratt, by H. S. Nichols. The subject is about forty years old. She is turned to the right and wears a white ruffled organza cap which is tied under her chin. She also has a broad white organza collar with a lacy edge, worn over a black dress. Her dark brown hair is parted in the middle and she has two sausage curls on either side of her face.
