DescriptionRetail display of ten leather dog leads in an assortment of widths and colors, secured to a light blue Masonite board with thin, black fabric covered elastic. The dog leads range in width from 3/8ths of an inch to 5/8ths of an inch and the colors include shades of tan, black, and red. The Masonite board has been painted light blue on both the front and back, and the paint has chipped off in small areas on the edges due to age and wear. Each dog lead has a leather loop on one end to serve as a handle, and nine have a metal swivel-clip-snap-hook on the other to attach to the dog collar. The lead on the far right has leather loops on both ends. Eight of the leads have their original store-tag attached with a metal crimp-hook. The tags are oval shaped yellow paper printed on the obverse in tan with an image of a dog’s head and lines for item specific information, and brand information on the reverse. Specific descriptive information for each lead has been handwritten in pen on the obverse of the tags.
