DescriptionThree-quarter-length portrait of a young woman standing at a table. Her left hand rests on an open book. She wears a dress with a broad lace collar and transparent lace balloon sleeves. Her jewelry includes bracelets, rings, and a necklace. Her belt appears to be composed of beads or pearls. A vase of flowers, including roses, tulips, and a lily, is on the elaborately carved table. Fringed drapery behind the woman partially obscures a framed painting or mirror. Patterned wallpaper is on the wall in the left background.
