She is wearing a long-sleeved black dress with a white lace ruff or collar that is parted in the middle so that the bottom lies flat against the neckline of the dress and the top stands up around her neck. Her head is covered with a lace bonnet, with several small curls of dark brown hair framing her face. In her right hand, she is holding a small sprig.
