DescriptionWoman's suit, consisting of a blouse (a) and skirt (b), of matching orange red synthetic fabric (probably polyester). The blouse is styled like a man's shirt, with a 4 1/4" - long pointed collar. The center front opening fastens with six dark gray plastic buttons on a button placket. The long sleeves end in 2 1/2 inch deep cuffs, which fasten with a single button. The hem of the blouse is straight. The back is fitted with two short darts below the collar; a woven tape label appears at the back of the neck: "SOMETHING! / by / Oscar de la Renta." The long skirt is styled with box pleats, which are stitched down for 7 1/4 inches below the waistband. The skirt opens on the proper left side with a 6 1/2-inch long metal zipper, headed by two large hooks & eyes. The skirt has a separate linking of similarly-colored crepe with slit side seams.
