DescriptionWoman's evening dress of gold silk (or silk-like fiber) satin. The entire dress is adorned with gold metallic threads and numerous rhinestones. This decorative work is found on both the front and back of the dress, beginning at the bodice neckline and ending 7 1/2 inches from the skirt hem.

The bodice is sleeveless; the neckline has a scalloped edge. It is fitted with two five-inch darts at the bustline. The bodice is lined in a rib-woven synthetic fabric of the same color, extending into the skirt. The full skirt is connected to the bodice with a series of three-inch-long darts; ten at the front and ten at the back. The skirt is made from four panels, seamed at the center front, center back, and sides. The underskirt of the dress has four rows of plastic netting attached to it to achieve the desired silhouette. The first three rows of netting fall five, thirteen, and 22 inches from the waistline, and they are all two inches wide. The fourth row of netting is 27 inches from the waistline and is 4 1/2 inches wide, ending at the hemline. The underside of the embroidered skirt is lined with a loose plain-woven white synthetic fabric. The hem on the embroidered skirt is 2 1/2 inches and is finished with a plain-woven piece of dark gold tape. The metal zipper at the left side seam is fourteen inches long, ending at the top of the bodice and finished with a hook and eye.
