DescriptionWoman's oatmeal-colored double knit dress (a) with matching scarf (b). The dress has a wide, round neckline and short sleeves. It is fitted with vertical darts from the waistline in front. The skirt is eased into the waistline and originally fell to about knee length (the hem has been let out). The dress has a narrow self-fabric belt that is attached on the proper right side, and at the back. There is an on-seam pocket over each hip. The dress opens at the center back with a 20-inch plastic zipper. A matching scarf is lined with dark blue silky-textured polyester, printed with white dots. A woven tape label is stitched into the separate crepe lining of the skirt: "NORMAN NORELL / NEW YORK." There is also a woven tape label inside the neckline at the front which reads: "FRONT."
