DescriptionWoman's dress of navy blue synthetic crepe. The dress has a 4-inch-wide turned down collar and a center front opening placket that measures 18 1/2 inches and fastens with six snaps (originally five, but owner apparently added one more). At the center front of the neck is mounted a large bow of dark blue, medium blue and white striped polyester. The long sleeves are straight and fitted smoothly into the armscye. The dress has curved side front and side back seams to provide fit. There is no defined waistline. There are on-seam pockets on each side of the front. The dress is lined with dark blue polyester. A woven tape label stitched to the center back lining reads: "G. FOX & CO. / The Specialty Shop / FIFTH FLOOR."
