DescriptionInvitation for the New Year Celebration Program at the Vietnamese Mutual Assistance Association of Connecticut, February 7, 2010. The Vietnamese New Year celebration featured several musicians and was held at the East Hartford Community Center.

NotesSubject Note: The event was organized by the Vietnamese Mutual Assistance Association of Connecticut which began in 1980 to assist recent refugees from the war in Indochina. Longtime director Le Lien Smith was very active in providing references to social services for her community. In 1995, the organization became part of the newly formed and expanded refugee agency Connecticut Coalition of Mutual Assistance Associations also under the direction of Le Lien Smith for many years, followed by Hung Pho. Former CCHAP Director Lynne Williamson served on the board of CCMAA for several years.
