NotesSubject Note: Since 1991, the Lithuanian Radio Hour - Tevynes Garsai - Sounds of The Homeland - has run on station WWUH, 91.3 Sundays from 5-6 PM. Started by a group of Greater Hartford Lithuanians in the late 1940s, the show has run continuously on various stations and with various announcers since 1957. The Dzikas family were the original announcers on WWUH, followed by other Lithuanian cultural leaders, and in 2021 Alex Dzikas is the announcer. The 50th anniversary was celebrated with a gathering at the University of Hartford which operates WWUH. The show broadcasts Lithuanian music and news, and is incorporated as a non-profit organization.
