NotesSubject Note: Since 1997, Chabad Lubavitch of Northwest Connecticut, based in Litchfield, has organized an annual Jewish festival during Labor Day weekend. First called “Jewish Tanglewood,” the event then became the New England Jewish Music and Arts Festival. Held at White Memorial off Rt. 202 in Litchfield, the festival includes Jewish music, participatory crafts, Judaica and arts for sale, entertainment, and kosher foods. The purpose of the event is to promote Jewish continuity and education.
