DescriptionWoman's dressing gown of white cotton woven with dots in heavier thread. The dressing gown is open down the length of the center front; the opening is edged with a band of white cotton fabric machine-embroidered in a Greek key design. The gown's fabric is shirred over the shoulders and across the back of the shoulders, then falls straight to the hem. The long sleeves are slightly gathered into the top of the armscye. The wide wrist openings are edged with the band of Greek key embroidery. The hem is 7 3/8 inches deep. The shoulder area is lined with self-fabric; the rest of the dressing gown is unlined. There is a strip of white twill tape stitched inside the center back below the neckline for hanging the dressing gown.
