DescriptionBlack and white photograph of eight women at the 1939 Gay Nineties themed Staff Club Christmas Dinner at the Hartford Golf Club. Seven of the women are wearing gowns and hairstyles inspired by the 1890s, one wears men’s clothing also inspired by the 1890s and a false mustache. The women have been identified on the reverse as Miss Peg Koler, Miss Buswell, Frances Fitch, Gloria Cunningham, Judy Simkins, Miss Prendergast, Rose Kicarny, and Ann Kerrigan.
