DescriptionWoman's middy blouse (.a) of a heavy twill-woven cotton in a dark khaki color. Possibly part of a World War I uniform. The neck has a placket front opening 7 1/2 inches long that closes with two snaps. It is decorated with six gold-colored metal buttons stamped with an eagle design. The sailor style collar has one of the same buttons on each side. The long sleeves are set smoothly into the armscye, with plain 3 1/8-inch-wide cuffs. There is a patch pocket with a "V"-shaped bottom on the proper left chest. The belt loops are 3 3/8 inches long and are set 7 5/8 inches above the hem. A rank designation is stitched to the upper arm of the proper left sleeve; three chevrons in rows of gold metallic thread.

Woman's skirt (.b) of a heavy cotton twill in a dark khaki color. Possibly part of a World War I uniform. Front closure laps the proper left over the proper right, open 12 1/4 inches from the waist and closed by three snaps with two hooks and eyes at the waist. There is no separate waistband. The material is turned over, creating a casing in the back for elastic. The skirt is constructed of one back panel, two gussets in each side seam, and two front panels.

Woman's bloomers (.c) of a yellow-khaki, lightweight twill-woven cotton. The fabric has faded significantly from an olive green color. The 1 1/4-inch-wide waistband is elasticized. The tops of the bloomer pieces are set into the waistband with pleats. The hook and eye closure is on the proper left side seam. The legs are gathered by elastic. The inseam measurement is 14 3/4 inches.

Woman's uniform hat (.d) of olive/brown felted wool with a leather headband. Possibly part of a World War I uniform. The flat brim is three inches wide all around, with five rows of machine-stitching around the outer edge. The crown is 23 1/8 inches in circumference at the base and six inches in height. The crown is round at the top and indented on four sides. There are four metal grommet holes for ventilation. The hat band is an olive green grosgrain ribbon, 7/8 inches wide, with a flat bow on the proper left. The leather headband is 1 7/8 inch wide.
