DescriptionPortrait of a young girl with light hair facing slightly right. She is wearing a green dress, the short sleeves, low neck, and front of the bodice trimmed with white lace. The lower part of her back and right arm are covered with a dark red wrap.
NotesProbably painted by Alexander Hamilton Emmons, probably in 1843 or 1844, from an original portrait then in the possession of Lord Pitkin's great-great-grandson, General Samuel L. Pitkin of East Hartford.
